I prefer bagged to be honest -the only advantage of having bagless/cyclonic (and the only reason I have such a machine) is to clear up all the bird seed and dry pet food on a daily basis - fine if its on a hard floor whereupon dustpan and brush time - but if its on carpet and ground in, a bagless, cyclonic upright takes over from my old cordless, "bag-less" Black and Decker dust buster.
