Same motor as in current Aerus canisters
To my knowledge, this is the same motor that is being used in the Guardian, Legacy, and Classic canisters today. It is a 5.2 inch wide motor, single stage (hence it is not too wide for the SJ series), as compared to the previous two stage 5.7 inch wide motor that was used in the later Silverado models, continuing all the way up until about 5 years ago?? when they switched over to the single stage, 5.2 inch wide motor. This narrower width motor, the few that I have seen, have been made by Domel, don't know if they are the current manufacturer.
