<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">How good/bad do those "As Seen On TV" products work?</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Yrs ago I bought Quick N Brite thinking it was going to clean better than laundry detergent or Mr. Clean; but QNB did no better than anything else</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">In fact QNB didn't even clean anything at all</span>

Sounds like you may have answered your own question...

Some of those products are pretty good--or at least as good as advertised--but most of them are junk and not at all worth the price, even with the "but wait, there's more!" bonuses they throw in if you "Just pay separate shipping and handling".

The Spin Mop

Is the alsolute FINEST MOP I HAVE EVER USED, I got my 89 year old Aunt to get one and She LOVES it!

The spin mop is a great Idea. Now there is a commercial version of the spin mop for industrial use. Would like to try one out.

I just bought an electric pressure cooker

from HSN..  LOVE IT.

I have a couple stove top Pressure cookers, and don't think I would have <span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px;">bought if I hadn't seen it demonstrated.   </span>

I thought the Magic Clean erasures were a joke when they came out. That is until I bought some. Now I can't clean with out them. There are some very good products out there. But as always buyer be aware. It's fun to see how many of the "as seen on tv" products end up on the shelves at the Good Will and Salvation Army stores.

There are many

As seen on TV outlet stores around here, been in the one but nothing really caught my eye. Seems like some of the products that are supposed to make things easier really don't & I don't know know how they even got to production.

Most of the Seen on TV stuff seems gimmicky to me. I see these products all the time in discount stores. The spin mop and lint lizard I have to say looked useful. Can't really recall if I ever bought any of these Seen On TV things and tried them. I did buy the Ice Cream Magic as I saw them in a discount store here, and it reminded me of making ice cream once at school in a bag. Haven't tried it yet though.

@gotthaveahoover

Try out the magic erasures on a textured surface. You will be amazed. I removed magic marker from a stained and varnished wood door from a previous tenant. I was amazed that they worked on that surface and stain type. Well worth the money.

I impressed a couple of the women at a job site cleaning black stains off a baseboard heater that nothing else would clean it off. One of the women had heard of them but never tried them. The other three get them and use them all the time.
