Just recently had my Hoover Windtunnel Self-propelled Anniversary serviced and cleaned but it seems the guy didn't tighten the head enough it works fine with brushroll shutoff but when i go to move from room to room the brush starts spinning it stops if i push the head up so i think something is just a tad loose, i don't want to go back to the shop if i can do it myself because I'm already having them do a warranty on another vacuum and I don't want to bother them with something i honestly could ignore if i have to do so plus I'd like to lern how to do my own repairs so I'm not paying shops for simple fixes, lastly i don't feel this machine is old enough to have a bad hoover lean where it would do this and didn't do it before i took it in, again any help appreciated

Believe

The culprit could be brush it brush roll have issues. Brush roll in backwards, belt on wrong part of motor shaft. I don't remember but nozzle may have to be in certain setting when installing brush roll. The height adjustment could be stuck. I'm betting it's brush roll or belt.

Maybe

Check motor connection. It could be the power and could be switch or power loose on motor.

Question can you take a picture of the side of the vacuum? If the vacuum has a slight lean back it's often a sign the base assembly has started to wear out.

Hopefully this video might be of help to you.

Thank you all who've responded

@vacuumland thank you I've seen that video a couple times in fact, your concept one video has intrigued me enough i need to go out and find my own, I've added a photo of a side view of the vacuum and I'll mention the issue doesn't occur on the highest height setting, but it does on the medium height setting (which is what i use for my carpet) it also occurs on the low height setting
