Just got a free commercial carpet cleaner with a bad motor, does anyone have a cheap motor they’d be willing to sell. I can’t afford a brand new motor.
Thanks

Well if your armature is good and happens to be a 215330, I have a 7.2" motor (115334) that is only missing the armature that I'm giving just for shipping cost. I can't tell what type of motor that is, don't see a serial number or any other identifying info. I'd guess you have something closer to a 5.7" though.

But if it's just water damage, I'd say there's a good chance a cleaning and bearing replacement would get it going. Bearings are cheap and pretty easy to replace in these.

Looks like a pretty basic horn motor. We have plenty of them at work, but they are retail priced (same as online).

That looks like a 116392 motor though other 5.7" two stage tangential (horned) discharge motors would work too. Ideally you'll want an epoxy coated fan case for long life in this application, so look for the -13 suffix after the motor's SKU. You could jump to a 116472 for better performance (higher amperage however).

I noticed you're in the USA, so am I! Stop by sometime. I have tons of motors (new and used) from central vacs, many of which cross over to carpet cleaners.
