...the sound of dirt and crap being picked up by the vacuum? Haha, I love it, especially if it continues for awhile and finally goes away... knowing I've cleaned out that carpet real well!

Yes, I do

Yes,I also love the faint click-click-click of stuff being picked up!!! That way, I know the vacuum is doing its job!

omg thats funny

I sometimes put my ear to the hose. And the sound a new bag makes with dirt going in it is great.

Mee too, who says you need a dirt sensor lol. I to like the sound of debris pinging through the fan.The Eureka/Sanitare F&G bags are great for hearing the fine sand going thruogh the bag filler neck.

I also like the sound of stuff hitting into the bag-esp with fan first machines-I espcially hear this with my NSS M1 vacuums. The "THUUP" like sound. Also hear the sound with Royal metals and sometimes with my Kirby "G" type vacuums. And at the Greenville Sew and Vac-A lost coackroach looking for food -but in the wrong store-he should have gone to the restuarant next door-the roach made the LOUDEST "THUUP" when he was sucked into a Meile canister vacuum-and he left a greasy spot on its bag!

I like putting my ear to the hose end as well, especially as the motor shuts down. Another thing I enjoy is looking into an Electrolux bag with the machine running to see the cyclonic suction action.

I too love the sound of a fan first machine picking up dirt and blowing it into a fresh bag. however I love cleaning a room with a canister machine such as an electrolux because you can hear the dirt going up the extension tube and through the hose due to the quiet hum of the motor. usually with todays machines all I hear is the motor and not the dirt.

OH!!! and one more thing, I also love the sound of the dirt going through my little riccar or shop vac with a 50ft hose attached to it when cleaning the car because the machine is usually a good 15 ft away and the hose is the type of hose used on pool filters so it is nice to hear the little pebbles and sand getting thrown about the walls of the hose.

electroluxx, no I didn't get anything, that email address isn't my real one, ask me for it later or I'll send it to the one in your profile! Sorry about the confusion!
