Anyone else ever seen one of these?

I stumbled upon this one day while browsing the web and find it very interesting. It looks to me like a modern day GE Roll Easy. However this is made by Hoover and is called the Air Revolve Canister. I would like to have one but definantly can't justfy the $299 price tag. I own a Hoover Windunnel Alr Steerable and it just seems to me like the motor is gonna burn out any minute and I have only used it a handful of times and I bought it new. The hepa filter is already black with carbon dust which doesn't seem right to me. Anyways if anyone does own one of these what do you think about it? Also any advice on these new Hoover motors would be appriciated.

There have been some threads discussing this machine, as well as some videos on Youtube. 


 


Reviews have not been overly stellular, however, I still think it would be a neat item to have, but not at that price. 


 


Last time I looked it wasn't available in the States, has that changed?

Yes - This is available in the states - It has been on the Home Depot website for close to a year -
I wanted to get one as well, but it is not worth $300.00 to me - Especially with only two stars -
