Anybody use the old Rexair rug tool on their new Black Rainbow?

I missed having a straight suction rug tool with my new Rainbow and found out the original Rexair rug tool from the model "B" not only fits my new wands but will fit right on the machine and ride along with the other tools. It has a black furniture guard so it matches the color of the new machine. The furniture guard also protects the wall if the cleaner bumps into a wall.
I like the design as it will lay completely flat and go under very low furniture and the connection adjusts to whatever the users height might be and still lie flat on the carpet. Also has the small area used to concentrate air flow, pick up dog hair and threads on the carpet.

It will grab the rug so hard you cant push it!!!!LOL, You should try the Rainbow Jet Rug tool, it really would make good use of the airflow the new machine produces!

I only use it on my older style wool rugs where I don't want the revolving brush.

You are 100% correct. You have to open the suction relief.
The Jet rug tool really worked when we had flagstone walks put down and had so much sand. That tool would remove sand that even my best upright left buried in the nap.

The Jet Air Rug Tool was one of Rainbow's finest hours. I have one in black for my 75th Anniversary Edition.

The old Rexair model B rug tool is something I haven't tried with my new Rainbow yet. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I have one or two laying around (lol).
