I know that just by looking at the shape of some canister machines from the 50s and early 60s like singer, viking and other dept.store brands that they were eureka rotomatics with other company names on them. I was looking at old vacuums on images and I came across a eureka canister machine called the wizard imperial by eureka. I absolutely loved it immediately and have to have one in the future. can anyone tell me anything about the wizard imperial? thanks Bill

I may be wrong, but I think Wizard was the store-brand of the Western Auto retail chain. We have seen Eureka Williams vacs rebranded with store brandnames such as Montgomery Ward, Viking (Eaton's in Canada), Baycrest and Beaumark (The Hudson Bay in Canada), JC Penney, Parnall (in the UK), Bradford (?) and also Wizard (Western Auto).
