I'm sorry! I really wish that it was a full size Ezee, though, instead of just a little wooden miniature. My greatest hope is, that someone, someday will finally get a hold of one and post a " Thread " about it, but until then, April Fool jokes will have to do, sadly.

Finding an Ezee is about as hard as finding a Frantz Premier upright. Both the Ezee and the Upright were made by the Frantz Premier Company in Cleveland. The upright used a GE motor that Mr. Kirby thought was the best obtainable at the time (1911). Mr. Kirby owned the patents, and Frantz Premier made the machine. Same with the Ezee. The VCCC newsletter (when it was printed on paper a million years ago) had the beautiful ad for both machines (the Ezee and the upright) reproduced. Mr. Kirby designed one other machine before he met Mr. Scott and Mr. Fetzer in 1917 - the Frantz Premier hand held vacuum. I have one in the museum. It's primitive and heavy, but effective. I have no idea why the Ezee is on Scott and Fetzer's timeline - they had nothing to do with it.

I don't know, but I'm thinking there's probably a pretty interesting story behind why Kirby has the Ezee on their timeline, at least, in their own minds if not in anyone else's. It seems there was a "Thread" some time back where a fellow member acquired a Frantz Premier at an auction. If I remember correctly, he said it looked rough, but as I recalled, it looked pretty fantastic!  But I do have the Frantz Premier toy, for which I'm most grateful. It would be super nice to have the full size one...Great Vacuum!

Just catching up on VL posts. Calem you may have been thinking of my Frantz Premier that I found at an auction a few years ago. Here's a couple pics of it. Not the greatest condition, but I did clean it up as much as I dared and oiled it. Runs pretty smooth for around 105 yrs old.

If that was the only machine you had, that would be one fantastic collection!!! As far as I know, you are the only one that has one! You can stop collecting now, because your one of the big, big boys! You mind as well have the Ezee, and whatever you paid for it wasn't nearly enough, you lucky, lucky dog you! If I was you, I would be one happy DUDE! Don't ever expect that to happen again, miracles usually only happen once! That is one super, super, super rare fine/machine!!!  You just don't know how blessed you are, and whatever you do...Hold on to IT, it's just to fine to let go!!!
