Alley Cat (M-1 competitor?)

So i was doing a search for commercial vacuums on ebay and came across this weird little thing, from the looks of it it seems to be kind of like the NSS M-1. Has anyone ever seen these things before i can't find any information on it?

Interesting vacuum-never seen one of these before.Note the machine is mostly plastic instead of metal as the NSS M1 is.Wonder if National Sanitary Supply ran into any patent infringement complaints from NSS-They guard their M1 "Pig" design in a strict manner.And makes me wonder about the cut cord on the machine offered for sale-Is it bad or unsafe??No hose, attachments, or bag.Like the upright handle and attachment caddy-kinda nice.
