Here's a picture of all of my stand mixers. The newest one is my 1955 Sunbeam Mixmaster model 11. I've affectionately named him "Smiley". My aunt just bought him for me yesterday for Christmas at her local antique store. Also, he came with the original owner's manual. I forgot to put it in the picture! I'm in love with him! He's in outstanding condition! He just needs to be re-greased and then he's good to go! -Michelle

NEAT!!!-I have a "Smiley" just like yours-got him from the late Kelly-The machine works like a champ-use for pancake, french toast, scrambled eggs-and of course for making mashed potatoes better than ANY resturant!GREAT MACHINE!!Mine has some of his "freinds," too. From Kelly and and yard sales.

That's really cool that you have the same mixer!!! Smileys are awesome!!! I will be trying out mashed potatoes by using my stand mixer. I actually heard of that being better the other day by someone else! How ironic! Thanks for sharing! :)

Love the subject title!!! Smileys are wonderful!!! That one in the picture looks like a model 12. That's another stand mixer I want to get down the road. Thanks for writing! -Michelle

Now If Ya Wanna Get Something RARE:

You can't do better than a Sunbeam Mixmaster 10C.

That's right, there was a chrome version of the 10. What happened was, Sunbeam was thinking about a chrome mixer (there are indications that Dormeyer already had one), and they chrome-plated a short production run of 10s to see what would happen.

The test run flew off the shelves, and Sunbeam took care to have a chrome version ever after.

Here's a link to DecoDan's page with a photo of the 10C - second pic from the top:
