Just given to me today by a dear friend, who apparently does not read manual or cleaner. It shut off, well the filter was never cleaned and the entire bin was to the top with fuzz. Any input on this machine would be appreciated. No book came with it, but looks brand new. All cleaned out now, weighs a TON.Thanks, David.

Actually cleans well, perhaps the weight helping it bite in, filters become dirty rather fast, not like my Air.Needs a tow hitch I swear. Very interesting to look at, LOTS of bling.

The weight will most certainly be helping it clean.

I can't stand light weight cleaners as they don't clean that well due to the lack of weight.

I completely disagree.

The Electrolux 500's and Hoover Juniors are both very lightweight and clean to a high standard, as do both my Panasonic 40 series vacuums.

I have just noticed the weight more in the last few years myself, never would have paid any attention to that before it became hard to move for me.Pick it up wrong and my back will be out for days, then the light ones come in very handy.

When you mention it - The 500 is a light weight cleaner that works very well, but I have seen some high suction light weight cleaners in the past that don't clean well.
