Which is a better system? I have only experienced the Aerus, but the Rainbow vacuum system looks interesting. What is the pricing of these?

Me too Josh

They are BOTH good vacuums. Rainbow is much more expensive and requires a learning curve and proper use & care. The Aerus is a great vacuum as well. I have BOTH but I personally prefer Rainbow but I wouldn't want to be without a bagged canister vacuum
for other things. The very latest Rainbow is the best of them all and obviously even easier to use than previous models.

The Aerus is much lighter than the Rainbow if you want a machine that is easy to carry and use. I have a Rainbow E2 which I bought new, it is in the back of my closet unused. We stopped using it because we found it to be very heavy and clumsy to use and move around or carry upstairs. I have used several cannisters and Rainbow is about the bulkiest and most clumsy machine I have had. It does clean good, and it makes the house smell good, but not worth the back ache it gives me. I hope to find a buyer for it at some point, it is like new, only used lightly in my home.

Yes, it does not seem practical for every day use, I think a regular vacuum is the way to go for now.

If you think of the Rainbow...

as just one among many vacuums, you never will understand why it is unique. It takes a minimum 30 days of using the Rainbow exclusively and daily to begin to appreciate the level of cleanliness it brings to your home. Not everyone appreciates a Rainbow and that's fine.
