That's a great find, I have the exact same model. I used it for a short time as a daily driver, but now just occasionally so I don't wear it out! I know some vac shops nicknamed them the "Aggrevation", but mine seems fine and works extremely well. I think some people are just hard on vacs and tore them up and didn't want to spend the money to repair them and bought an elite or convertible instead of investing in repairs/parts. I'd like to find a hard cased model sometime but probably adds weight to the machine. I love how this one handles on my plush wall-to-wall.
