I had a few friends ask if I was doing anything for the anniversary of Elvis's death today...

So here it is - A little rough - No real sheet music - Duplicated the best I could...

Hope you all Enjoy !

Having been born three months before the Beatles invaded America, I never really developed much in the way of appreciation for Elvis as he had devolved into self-caricature by the time I became aware of him. One thing's undeniable, though. Dying young turned out to be an excellent career move for him.

Hi Rex -

Glad you enjoyed it - I had to do something for the day otherwise I would have never heard the end of it! - I did not have sheet music for it, so most of it was improvised after listening to the song for an hour -

The Reg, Green, and Blue lights are for people that can't actually play, 3,4, or 5 finger chords - There are three lights - One for each major chords - C, G, & F - (I think) -

I have to see if there is a way to disable them, but to me the more lights and buttons the better - makes for a better Video - That is why I always leave those stupid Keyboard Note Lights on !!!
This was probably one of the MANY reasons I hated the Roland - To Small and Boring Looking - Plus I hated the way it sounded.

I think that the next two that I want to do are "Fly me to the moon" made popular in the movie "Once Around" with Holly Hunter and Richard Dreyfuss -

The second will be "What I did for love" from a Chorus Line - Made popular again by Josh Groban releasing it on his last album...

Thanks-now I know what those lights are for---for folks like me that can't carry a tune in a bucket. As I say give me an organ or other instrument that plays from rolls, music books,MIDI than I am OK.
