Hello all! I've been working on these for a while, and never formally made a post here with the finished product. After a lot of testing, and a a few test units going out early on and all the positive notes I've heard, I think it's safe to say that this will be the final design.
This attachment allows you to slip a F&G or C bag right under your shake-out bag, improving filtration, and preserving the condition of the bag. The best part (to me, at least), is that the original look of the machine isn't harmed at all, even while the bag is inflated!
In the pictures below are my 150 which has one of these on; it's been in very regular use as my daily driver machine for about 3/4 of a year, and has zero dust leakage. These are sealed with RTV and use standard Kirby fill tubing for flexibility. On the 150, I'm using a Hepa bag, which has served me really well so far. The F&G Hepa bag fits perfectly over the bag adapter's blower end, so there's no folding, which makes the seal pretty nice. I had another machine with a paper F&G bag, and that one did have a little bit of dust build-up (as paper bags tend to do). For best results, I strongly recommend the Hepa ones.
