Yep! I watched Charlie's Angels regularly; I have passed by this place a zillion times and never recognized it!

They were great, the old US crime series. Charlies Angels would have been originally shown when I was a young lad, and I do remember watching it. I loved Colombo as well from that era, and the later Knight Rider from the 80's - all shot in sunny California. My father visited California on business in the 70's and said how wonderful everyone was in LA. He did get a shock though when he went walking late at night round the suburbs of LA and the Police questioned him to where was his car, and why was he walking about and not in a car.


One of my all time favourite films shot in California is Earthquake (1974) starring George Kennedy and Ava Gardner - after all, that's what LA is famous for, and this film, was excellent. Loved the Towering Inferno as well.

One of the local 'budget' movie theaters out here ran a double-feature of "Earthquake" and "The Towering Inferno." On the marquis: "Shake and Bake"
