I come across this when I was looking around at Amazon. From what the looks of it they still sell these and not discontinued them. Though that maybe not be true that Hoover is still manufacturing theses but it definitely looks like it. And the fact they put the tempo name on it is interesting. I'll put the link here and make your own theory or like to buy one since they're still available as the time im making this post.

(..and no relation to the YouTuber "T-Series" either)

It's not actually the Tempo, I think they just revived the name and the color and tacked the Tempo name onto the end.

They just do that to keep the trademark current. I see on their website they now have another model named "PowerDrive", a name Hoover has been using since at least the '70s starting with the self-propelled Dial-a-Matic. Hoover has had a Tempo out in some variety off and on for at least 30 years. The first was a compact canister if I remember correctly.

@hooverman99
I commented on this rumor many times.
Hoover has not discontinued the bagged T-Series machine.
However they can show up as discontinued when they do a color change. So some colors have been discontinued or only produced at certain times a year.

I don't know why this rumor continues to be perpetuated?!
