Hi all

I took a look at one of the new 3D faced Henry's today (there was one on display in Tesco). I have to say, I couldn't really see that much difference (I nearly didn't notice there was a difference).
It's ok & on the Henry the clip on face fitted well but on a Hetty that was next to it, it did appear a bit "gappy" & ill fitting.
On balance i'm not quite sure why Numatic have bothered. The new park feature introduced a the same time for the pipe looks good & was certainly needed but the 3D face i'm not so sure about, as it doesn't look that much different.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

I get what you are saying, I don't really know why Numatic did it either. It would cost more in plastic and molding. there was nothing wrong with the original face as well.

I do like to park feature very much, one problem people had with Henry's and other Numatic's has been the bulkiness of the machine, thus making it hard to store.

Hi! I am not in the England/UK area so i dont know about these Henry's can somebody post a picture I would love to see one

Hi

I can only think it's perhaps because Numatic have had people asking for a plain Henry without a face, so perhaps that's why they've now given the option. Personally the thought of taking him out of the box & clipping a mask on rather that him having a face to start with doesn't hold quite that same appeal :-)

Cheers Dave

Actually.....

Hey Guys
Up until maybe 15 years ago Henrys came with a sheet of stickers and you did indeed apply them yourself- thats why you see the odd one on Ebay with upside down eyes and a frown rather than a smile etc......

Hi

Yes I have a couple with the stick on faces, seems a bit odd that Numatic have effectively gone backwards, but they don't make too many changes so have doubtless researched it well enough to know it's a good idea.

I always liked seeing the boss eyed ones :-) It's a pity with the new mask that won't happen.

Cheers

LOL and Henry got addicted to drugs, Hetty gave him LOADS of slaps on the face which is why his face is permanently red :P

Whereas Mr George Washer had to wash Henry with his pump spray  after Henry had a Puke accident!

For our US friends, or indeed anyone in the UK that hasn't had change to see this yet, here are some snaps of the Henry "docking" system and the 3D faces.
