Nope

They didn't make a shakeout bag for legend 2. They all have the new mini emtor. If you get the grey hammertone emtor and put the bag on it you is an option.

I've only seen plastic emtors on heritage 2 legend 2. I will have access to my Kirby parts diagram. You may be right.

sani emtors were options on all pre g series models, even ones with mini emtors. i have a heritage II with a NOS dump bag i got from phillip mueller i traded a radarange for. i got the extremely rare black hammertone sani emtor for it in a basement at a vacuum shop in furgeson, mo in 2015.

heritage II/ hertitage II legend and legend II kirbys all had the options for 13" heads, and sani emtors with dump bags. they are extremely hard to find, but they do exist.

I just downloaded the manual for the Legend II and it definitely shows the "Reusable Bag System" (aka dump bag) as an option. I don't know why in the world somebody would want one, but that's a whole different discussion.

Edgar,

Like I said two years ago, some people buy them with this option as this means no need to spend money on disposable bags. But the largest market for shake out bag-equipped machines were businesses instead of us civilians.

However, the last revision of the Legend II instruction book (1990) clearly does not make mention of the reusable bag system. It's that revision which also shows the G3-style tools.

Hey

I downloaded the legend 2 manual and it confirms availability.
I assumed new plastic mini emtor was only emtor available. I remember the rear wheels on something wouldn't fit wide wheels. I believe I mentioned hammertone emtor and bag assembly when mentioning d80 HEPA bag conversion tradition front axle, heritage 2 13 stock heritage micro matic axle, hammertone emtor custom HEPA bag conversion, vac 3 519 with either d50 or cr1 motor, tradition axle , HEPA bag conversion same as d80 it was with all blue trim. In the thread I mentioned setup and Ben said wide wheels wouldn't fit hammertone emtor. I'm going off memory but Ben can verify. In said case I'll use mini emtor heritage 2 fill tube and sentria 2 HEPA adapter.
I'm heading to LAX now and I'll be home 1230am tommorow I have school 7am-630pm. I then have Saturday night all Sunday to organize my horde of vacuums and I have d80 motor and armature that does fit 519 housing. I may not polish them but 519 just needs speed switch hooked up and d80 needs switch hooked up. I hope I can get a test using anamometer with 3 vacuums. H2 13 has white fan 519 and d80 metal fan. I'm going to bust out k meter showing power. I have a f&g bag that fits all vacuums. It has brand new f&g bag installed. I'll install new bag for each vacuum.
Hopefully I can get it done before Monday.
Sorry to detail entire thread. Just been using public transportation on what will be 4 hours and a few minutes when I get to LAX.

On the Heritage II and Legend II you need the short Axle for the Heritage model and earlier for the Sani emptor to lock into place. The Rear wheels stick out to far from the body of the machine for proper clearance other wise.

I converted my Heritage II for a Sani emptor when I bought it.

Steve,

My 1987 Heritage II had a shake-out bag and Sani Emtor, but the rear wheel set was not changed (indicating this originally had the Mini Emtor), which meant whoever owned it before Jared (huskysteel) did had modified the Emtor to be able to make it fit against this standard rear wheel set.
