Hey guys purchased a vacuum from my local thrift store for $10 and wanting to know how old it is? And people's thoughts on it?

It was manufactured on the 128th day of 2008, so it's eleven years old.
Orecks are good machines, provided they aren't abused. Many I have found in yard sales and thrift shops were in terrible condition because they were used and abused.

Orecks are awful machines. You can't clean carpets with less than 50 CFM and a soft brushroll.
I was given a few.
I gave them away, of course, to people who liked the. I had to use one at a school where I once worked. I chuckled the first time I had to clean out the tube. Right on the handle, it read. "WHEN the tube blocks................" Not IF, but WHEN.
But, I won't bash another brand. But, I have no need or use for one.

It appears to be in good condition and vacuums really good.
We did think it was a really old vacuum by the look of it.

It's a great older vacuum.
I hope the carpet in pic isn't after using it. I also believe the carpet wouldn't look much better than it does if you vacuum it.
It's a good vacuum for hardwood floors,tile, low pile carpet and laminate flooring.
If you use on medium carpet it will not fare so well.
