Hello.

I am looking to buy a motor for the 375. I thought to try here in the hopes someone can help. I would buy another 375 on ebay but would rather not buy another whole unit.

Hopefully a U.K collector can help. The listing had sad it was in working order but I guess most people cannot tell if an old cleaner is supposed to sound smooth and quiet rather than loud and rough.

I think the bearings are in need of attention but I am not mechanically minded to make an attempt at finding out.

Gary.

Complete 375

Hello Gary,

I agree with Al; you are much more likely to come across a complete cleaner rather than individual parts.

I think, from memory, that the front ball race assembly is the same as fitted to the 119. Sometimes the rear sleeve type bearings appear on ebay.

What a shame srimperuk did not more care in storing those vacs in better conditions?

Hi Vacbear58.

I did see those videos. I posted in comments about needing and buying a motor unit and he recommended looking on ebay. I guess he wants to keep all those parts so he can take them with him to the next life. I would rather make a bit on the side if I had that many spares just collecting dust.

My guess is he was a former hoover man as he has loads of spares.

Very informative though.
