quadraflex and powermatic are two completely different powerheads. to which are you referring? do you have an early celebtrity with pn? or a hoover spirit?

I don't think Quadraflex and Powermatic are different nozzles. My grandmother has a Hoover Spirit that has a PN with a headlight and brush switch. That nozzle is labeled as a "Quadraflex Powermatic". Both labels are on the same nozzle.

The true Powermatic was from the 70s. The quad was introduced with the Concept. Of course they are no longer made however you can find them on Ebay. Every now and then Ebay will have new ones pop up but they are usually around $80 Your best bet is to try and find new brush strips and regrease the bearings.
