Wow! Nice find! I got one of these a few years ago. Mine has a yellow cord. Not sure if the cord was replaced or it's a different model. I believe these are a close relative of Sebo.
Either the cord was replaced or yours is a newer model because they all use yellow cords today.
That being said, these are excellent uprights. Introduced in 1991, came in three different base sizes. In my humble opinion one of if not the best commercial uprights ever made, that's why they're still being sold today. Very Compatible to the SEBO/Windsor Versamatic along with it's Chinese copy, personally I like these more over Windsor. As for it leaning, it's not connected to the slide lever you already have on the nozzle. This is what it should look like.
