Hmm

I have a 1970 something 400 watt royal almost identical to that. I just seen it's a model 153. I got spacers for the motor screws. It's the quietest vacuum I have. Nobody can hear it and with a good brush roll, belt and height adjustment perfect it cleans awesome.
I have so many cool royals, I have my 245 from 1949 I got a field for. I got spacers for 153. I got a new fan for elecrtro hygiene 990, fan for 880, armature for my maroon 6 amp preferred edition, new fan for my 10.5 amp royal. The 10.5 amp I polished up it's flawless no dings. I just have to assemble all of them. I actually have access to them.
I sold a rainbow and I'm getting parts for the other rainbow. Once it's back together I can focus on royals. I also have the pa geier model 88 I need to take off fan clean motor and put back together. It's straight suction royal. It's so old I'm scared to open up the motor. I know they usually clip field could to carbon brushes like early 500 series Kirby. I don't want to mess it up if it's broke off.
I talk slot.
I'll post more pics tommorow as I had class tonight and again Wednesday.
Les
