I recently gathered into my possession a General Electric Model AV-4 upright vacuum. There seems to be very little information online about it. I’m trying to date it. There is a post on this website that’s confident it is from 1939 but another that says it’s 1920’s. I did find a patent number from 1923 as I was cleaning.
At any rate, I’ve been polishing it up and getting it ready to use. I had to order a new belt as the existing one had stretched out. Otherwise, it works! I can’t wait to use it.
