Okay, So I was on here looking at 90's Dirt Devil stuff, nd i saw where someone said something about a Dirt devil lite xf..Never heard of it or seen it, they said it looked like a Hoover Dial A Matic..Idk, but if u could provide a pic or some info it would be very much appriciated, or where i can find a pic of one!

i believe was made to compete with the hoover elite,since the elite model sold thousands.dirt devil didn't sell as many as the elites,as the elite won america over in the 90's.sorry,no pic,but i sure do wish i had one!
 
It was actually called the Dirt Devil Upright Plus XF. It had a set of vent louvers on either side of the bag door towards the top, which made it a little bit like the Dial-A-Matic, although nowhere near the quality. Behind those vents were foam filters for slightly better filtration. I picked one up in the trash about a dozen or so years ago with a burnt-out motor, so back into the trash it went.

Not pictured is my Dirt Devil Stick Vac (Original bagged one), my red Can Vac, my Dirt Devil Classic, and my red Power Pak (Can Vac with a power nozzle). As well as the 3 original Toy Dirt Devils.
 
Dirt Devil Brush Roll

Hi Kyle I was wondering if you could help me out. I have been trying to get a replacement brush roll for my Dirt Devil Room Mate I called the company they said it was discontuined three years ago i love the Machine but with out the Brush roll it is no good. Thank you for what ever help you may be Doug
 
Also not pictured is my Dirt Devil Stick Vac, two Ultra MVPs, an Ultra MVP with a cord rewinder, and my Dirt Devil Cyclone Deep Cleaner.

I'm pretty sure i don't have any extras, but if i come across one i will keep you in mind.
 
My mother had a "Dirt Devil DeLuxe" as pictured above. My grandmother had one of the little ones as on the far left; it sort of looks like a baby Royal. The DeLuxe was a big pile of "meh"; the motor eventually crapped out and we got rid of it; the little one lasted much longer as it was always a backup vacuum for when you couldn't be arsed to use a full-size one; one day long after my grandmother passed away one side of the brush roll got so hot it melted the casing, and that was the end of that. Still have about a million bags for it, though.
 
Thanks everyone! :) Btw, its the dirt devil plus xf, and it looks like a classic..which I may get! I love 90's dd's..i have the Dirt Devil Featherlite 8.7 amp. Looks like a Lite Plus! Works good, but so loud!
 
DD brush roll for Room Mate

I used to have a vacuum that look just like the roommate but was a litle bigger with an on board hose. What would that have been? It never worked and went the trash after some time. It was almost like a full size vacuum but was a room mate on steroids
