Thanks, Brandon. I'll pick it up tomorrow if he still has it. What might it bring on ebay if it works? As I said, I would guess fair or good condition. Guessing date of manufacture in the 1930's.

What is a brush roll? I believe the "head" of the vac, the part that touches the floor or carpet, has a rolling brush that turns inside to dislodge debris on the rug or floor.

I saw an Airway vacuum at a garage sale in my neighborhood. This vac may be missing a cap on the round part on the stick (as you can tell, I do not know vacuum cleaners). The bag seems in good shape, though it does not have the airplane logo on it. Is this a valuable vacuum in "good" or "fair"...
