    Hi Rob, Thanks for your input. The comparison between the two vacuums is with hose attached. Now the one on the Olympia is basically a 1205 woven hose that does not show any exterior damage, can't speak for the interior though. Sounds like it may be worth my while to try a new vinyl type...
