Bought A Dyson PencilVac From Japan (Review Inside)

Having used the PencilVac more today, it's genuinely a great hard floor cleaner. Picks up everything without problems, and the edge cleaning is awesome. The biggest design flaw is the top of the cleaner head that connects to the vacuum. Dirt and (particularly cat litter) likes to build up on...

Bought A Dyson PencilVac From Japan (Review Inside)

Vacuumed another area, here's some pictures of what i'm referring to, with dust going behind the bin. Also the pin connector gets covered in dust. Not sure if any of this would effect performance, but definitely cosmetically ugly. The cleaner head itself is amazing though, I would totally use...

Bought A Dyson PencilVac From Japan (Review Inside)

I will preface this review by saying I live in a 1700 SQFT house, so obviously it wasn't designed for a house of this size. Being designed for smaller Japanese style homes. Battery life is only like 30 minutes or so give or take what power level you're on, so obviously it won't be able to do...

    New Innovative Dyson FluffyCones PencilVac

Buying a PencilVac from Japan and having it shipped to the US. Will post photos and videos of it in action as well as a review.

    New Innovative Dyson FluffyCones PencilVac

Oof I forgot about the Dyson Hard. I feel like that was the quickest Dyson ever discontinued a product line, barely a year and poof. Even the videos at the time advertising it, it didn't look too great. Probably one of the most unknown Dysons as well, as I imagine they wouldn't have...

    Dyson Piston

It's strange how they did a huge production for the pencilvac, but the Piston has been kinda quietly released so far.

How does the new non cyclonic aspect work? Like what replaces the cyclone in the bin and the metal shroud? It's not something Dyson really advertises. I wish one of the engineers would do an in-depth video on the airflow and such.

One interesting thing I noticed in the Dyson help videos it appears to tell you when you have to compact the dirt. Should avoid people overfilling past the max fill line.

That guy is so rough with it holy. I'll never understand why people buy expensive products and then practically throw the item on the floor.

I'm assuming since they're advertising the dirt compactor allowing more bin size that the outsize model might be dead.

Yeah I am very curious about the carpet cleaning performance in general. I also hope the new head is just as good as the older fluffy heads. My initial concern is with the head having both fluffy bristles and carpet bristles. I hope it's not a jack of all trades master of none situation...

    Dyson Piston

I'm hoping with the unswept path and the cone shapes that if you remove them they're won't be any built up dust underneath which has been a problem on their carpet heads for awhile now. Dust likes to get trapped where the brushroll connects on the drive mechanism. It's not a huge problem if...

Yeah all the reviews on that website, I think are from influencers or something. So they're not very in-depth on the various features sadly. If you search "다이슨 DS60" on the website you can find a lot more, but they all say mostly the same thing. It is good for close-up photos though of the...

https://blog.naver.com/heena_mom/223909855783 Video here of the anti tangle feature with long string. One thing I don't like and it might just be an audio thing in the various videos. But the vacuum seems very noisy compared to previous models.

Oh shit! You can remove the see through screen to clean it! That was a huge petty annoyance for me on the V15.

Are we assuming the red slider at the front is suction gates? Dyson has patents to automatically open/close suction gates based on different factors but maybe the technology isn't ready yet. I also wonder if the new cleaner head will be able to be used on carpets with the suction fully closed...

    Dyson Piston

The new head works on both carpet and hard floor so you no longer need the fluffy head. At least that's the idea. I do really love the fluffy head so hopefully this design is just as good. Based on the website it'll detect when you're on hard floor and turn on the laser and I think...

I'm willing to wait and see how the dock functions before completely writing it off as junk. But you're probably right it won't be anything interesting. Unfortunately Dyson has entered product ranges before with mediocre items just to get their name in there. Like their robot vacuums...

    Dyson Piston

I just realized there's no shroud. Is this the first Dyson to not have one? I wonder how that will change the performance in anyway. Also do you know of any parents that might show how the new docking station works with the auto emptying? Imo their stick vacuums are already super easy...

    Dyson Piston

I knew I made a good choice not upgrading to the Gen5. There was so little difference between the V15 and the Gen5 I wondered why they even released it. Now, THIS on the other hand looks awesome, and fun to use. A ton of new features which look genuinely good. Cleaner head looks great, I...
