    To shampoo the carpet only, would the Avalir (based experiences with the Sentria and past Kirby models) be as effective as the X3 and/or vice-versa?

    Agreed on the dusting brush a.k.a Parquet Brush #6391DA. It is why my daily driver on smooth surfaces is now the Premium Parquet Brush #7200DG. It is not without its faults, however.
