Looks like FilterQueen is diversifying the brand

Just checked out the FQ website and was greeted with a pop up for a new cordless stick vac! Seems like a pretty generic rebranded stick vac but definitely looks like FQ is trying to get their ancient brand out there more. It says that it will be available exclusively on amazon, so that will...

    My new FilterQueen!

rivstg1- It’s a fantastic cleaner! Not complaining about its performance at all, i’m THOROUGHLY impressed with it! Just not too keen on the “feel” of the power nozzle, feels very clunky and big but it’s good at its job. Overall very pleased with the FQ been using it like crazy past few weeks.

    My new FilterQueen!

Just wanted to share my new find! A 1983 Canadian FilterQueen model 700! After a good clean up and some maintenance, it’s running like a top! Very nice machine, quiet, powerful, and good looking. I’m not too crazy about this power nozzle, but it is a good cleaner. Very happy with my first...

    Newer model TriStar hose material

Kirbylux and Brian- Thanks for the suggestions, i’ll keep searching around! I’ve taken apart the damaged hose and replacing the 6 foot with the 12 foot is definitely a job i’m more than capable of doing. It’s a pretty straightforward connection from the old hose to the connector where it...

What's the American equivalent to Henry, popularity wise?

Canada/US upright and canister @vacuumdevil I have lived in both the US and Canada long term and I've found the Upright/Canister split to be the same. But I will say from my very unscientific findings, just general "living there" knowledge I'd say there is more central vacuums than the US. But...

First images of my NIB Electrolux model L!

Awesome!! WOW! Awesome vac! That was my grandmother's machine until about 2003! Bought it from the door to door salesman brand new, she was always mad at my grandfather for being too cheap to buy her the cord winder :P But she definitely got her moneys worth!

What vacuums are you hoping would come out in 2022?

I know here in Canada there is a bagged Dirt Devil, it's called the Dynamite. Its a canister, cant find any information on it or on Dirt Devils website. I'm assuming it's a private label of something, can anyone recognize it? I saw it at Canadian Tire last week and was honestly surprised at how...

    Great Electrolux 2100!

Hey everyone! First post here so be gentle:) I just scored a like new Electrolux 2100 for $50 on craigslist and I'm loving it, got it for my mother who the trusty Kirby G3 had gotten too cumbersome for. Also she does not have carpet anymore so not really in need of a super good carpet cleaning...
