Current Fleet for my Current Place

@kirbylux77 I've been flirting with buying a used powerhead for it to keep it running. If I don't find one, if god forbid it does break, worst case scenario I use it as a canister vacuum/car vacuum.

Current Fleet for my Current Place

The upholstery nozzle is a nice one Though if I gotta go under furniture, I use the stick vac or the Bissell, mostly the Bissell as that's my upstairs vacuum and a majority of the furniture that needs vacuuming under it is upstairs.

Current Fleet for my Current Place

Is it easy to use? @eurekaprince, it's pretty easy to use overall. The only things I don't like about it from a performance perspective is that I can't use the floor/power nozzle in lift off/canister mode and because the bag compartment is as bulky as it is, it's hard to clean under furniture...

Current Fleet for my Current Place

It's been a while since I've been on here and since then I got a new place and got a very different (and smaller) fleet than I once had. What are your thoughts about? From left to right: Kenmore Spotlite (Purchased New in May of 2023) Kenmore Intuition (Purchased New in November 2023) Eureka...

Spinscrub 50 vs Proheat Revolution 2x Pet

My Take I haven't tried any of the newer carpet scrubbers. That said, my first carpet cleaner experience was with the original Hoover Steam Vac Dual V that my family bought brand new in 2002 and after ten years of heavy use and a clean water tank replacement, it finally made its way to the curb...

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

I also: -Replaced the cord -Replaced the original brushroll (which when I got it 6 years ago was caked with hair) as it was losing its bristles. -Will be replacing the bag door and putting a new height adjustment label on the new nozzle hood. However, I replaced the actuator arm for the self...

Is this Kenmore Canister worth fixing?

After a few hours of searching.... I've come to the assumption that it just isn't worth fixing this thing. The 2 prong Kenmore Canister hoses I and another person who replied to this thread found online have prongs that are too wide for this and the motor while still working is pretty rusty. My...

Is this Kenmore Canister worth fixing?

Could this hose work? I know it's a blank 3 wire hose, but it does say it would work on a two wire hose in the item description. How easy would this be to install...

Is this Kenmore Canister worth fixing?

I have this old Kenmore Canister of my grandparents. I believe it's from the mid to late 60's or early 70's (correct me if I'm wrong). I've had it for a few months now, and am just finally posting about it here. I used it once, and the suction was decent for a vacuum that survived two basement...

Hoover Concept One PowerDrive (Model U3109) Help

So as you may already know the handle support piece on my Concept One cracked and after gluing it, it cracked again, so instead of gluing it, I bought a full handle of off ebay for $25 (I know that's a bit pricy, but I didn't want to pass it up either) to get the handle support piece out of it...

Thinking about throwing away a Dual V Windtunnel

I'm thinking about throwing it away after having it for about a year. The previous owner sucked up wet dog hair with it after cleaning the vacuum and the tower filter with what smelled like bleach and even after I took it apart, cleaned it myself, and replaced the tower filter a year ago it...

Anyone have a Hoover Encore Supreme Soft and Light?

Found one on eBay. I don't know how "rebuilt" it is, but just thought I'd let you know. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hoover-elite-vacuum-u4713-Rebuilt-by-the-Vacuum-Doctor-/161363688009?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

It seems to work great as of now. It needs a new left wheel and may need some work done to the brushroll switch, but so far it doesn't smell like anything is burning and the motor sounds fine. Even though I had to buy a new motor, I still paid less to buy this machine and a new motor than I...
