    Incinerating vacuum?

I think the Karcher TSC 555 did the very same thing! I’m not sure how effective it was or how exactly did it work.

    Shark EVOPOWER Hand Vacuum (Japan)

I remember ibaisaic doing a monthly vacuum test with a robot of some sort and that hand vacuum at some point last summer. Have a look! It looked and worked pretty cool, I think the size of the bin is it's main drawback.

    Dyson DC02 cord rewind issue

And here it is next to its much younger, lighter, quieter and surprisingly more powerful brother lol!

    Dyson DC02 cord rewind issue

The overall condition was surprisingly good. The only things that definitely needed changing were obviously the filters, the rusty hammered floor nozzle and the handle. I'm still waiting for the latter, but I managed to find a cheap floor nozzle replacement for a few pounds and it looks brand...

    Dyson DC02 cord rewind issue

Thanks dysonman1! After a glass of wine I managed to open the cord rewind, found the round rubber brake, gave it a little refurb and it works like new. Now get ready for some photo spam as promised.

    Dyson DC02 cord rewind issue

Hi guys! Happy New Year everyone. I've been extremely lucky this week. I was just scrolling down free cycle at work and saw an ad for a free Dyson from someone just down the road from me. I thought someone else will probably be quicker and take it before me but thankfully - no. I picked it up...

Miele S143 stick vacuum won't change speed?

Hi guys! I'm currently visiting my mum's new place and was just giving it a little clean with the S143 we got last year. Everything's been good the last few times I used it last week but for some reason since yesterday I cannot seem to change the suction from Min to Max. The slider works, you...

New Roomba Self-Empties, and The New Dyson 360 is Heuristic

As much as it is nice to see, I don't really think it is the first self emptying robot vacuum. Karcher had that quite a few years ago with their RC4000. No clue how good or effective it was but I remember the docking station had it's own vacuum that would suck out the debris out of the robot's...

    Odd Early Electrolux Accessory

kirbylux77 Sorry to offend anyone! I actually lost a great chunk of my family tree during those horrendous events as I am actually 100% Polish through and through. Didn't mean to upset anybody, just genuinely confused and curious.

    Odd Early Electrolux Accessory

mothimizer - vaporiser It's not the first vacuum cleaner I see having a moth killing related attachment. I'm pretty sure I've seen a few other brands having similar tools. What would vapour creating moth balls of that era be made of? I remember that Zyklon B was used as moth killer for a while...

Upright Vacuums with Separate Hand Vacuum Attached??

Ugh, I've seen that Samsung - looks horrendous! So big and bulky. Has anyone actually got it? I wonder if it's as bad as it looks lol!

    The PIGG has arrived.

I imagine this is a Zelmer design through and through that's just been sold to different companies. Might be wrong tho! It is a very Zelmer thing tho, they're not really good at design, if anything, they're actually quite bad. Everyone in Poland has one, had one, will have one or used one. I've...

DC25 keeps spitting out the exhaust filter?

Yeah sure it makes sense! I was just surprised to see that happen. However many vacuum cleaners I've laid my hands on I have never seen anything like that. What surprised me specifically was the fact that it seemed to all work okay before I washed them. Perhaps it was actually filled with some...

DC25 keeps spitting out the exhaust filter?

Hey lads! I've recently refurbished my friends Dyson DC25. She got it off eBay for 20 quid, it was in a pretty mint condition, just very dusty. A bit of elbow grease, spit and polish and it looks like brand new, me myself was impressed. I gave both the pre and post (or A and B) motor filters a...

    The PIGG has arrived.

I'm not really sure how easy this would be to find spare parts for this machine in the US. I bet far harder than in Poland ha! Only good thing about Zelmer is the low price and extreme availability of spare parts. I'm not home till later this year but I'll keep you in mind and have a look...

    The PIGG has arrived.

So I found the manual in english for you guys for the 3 in 1 version. They're so similar, as far as I remember the pump button used to just be blanked out on the Duo version (which on yours I think is a suction control). And also the clear water reservoir was changed to a tool storage.

    The PIGG has arrived.

Nope! No separator there, unless you could call a sponge filter a separator. I think they must be a Zelmer design cause even all the tools look exactly like all the tools Zelmer does for all its other cleaners (Polish pal here btw, I know this company in and out lol). They used to be called...

Dyson motorheads - what's the difference?

Hi guys, I've recently been on a research quest that has left me full of questions and little answers. So I have a V7. I'm considering getting extra motorheads for it (e.g. the small one or the soft roller). I realise that whatever accessory I'm getting it'll need to be the one with the red...

    goodbye DC11!

Oh worry not guys - I only took it on a credit cause I wanted to up my credit rating before autumn (my current phone contract runs out and I want to make sure to get a new one). Thankfully Argos here in the UK does this thing when you can buy something now and pay 6 months later - and I already...

    goodbye DC11!

And it's time for me and our little flat to say goodbye to the previous workhorse - the DC11. I brought it with me all the way from Poland (hence the EU plug). Got it for like 5 pounds on a market. Cleaned it up inside and out, got a new set of attachments, a new hose and some new filters. It...
