Let's not forget, most? All? Shop vac style are a bypass motor, dirty air and water not going through the actual motor. My poor neighbor tried to use a 5 gallon Shop-Vac as her only vacuum very loud, very clumsy and not satisfactory.

I have that Ryobi stick vac, a Christmas present from the other half. With his military discount $89 at Christmas. It has a very irritating sound to the brush roll so that it pretty much just sits there parked. Great agitation with the brush roll. Just fair suction.

Thanks Barry, Felix is probably 18 lbs, Crowley 15? But Felix is a lot of cat and muscle, Crowley is a bit soft and plump. The female looks very much like Felix but half his size. They are both eight and Crowley is nine

He mostly gets spoiled by both of us! Maybe a new cat toy. We agreed to upgrade the TV this month and both kicked in on it!
