If you'll notice the fan blades are pretty close together. I don't think this would survive anything more than a penny or dime.

I will say it is an impressive motor. nothing at all like the tiny power nozzle motors used by other lightweight vacs.

I can say it's built better than the Oreck, it's a lot quieter and does a fantastic job. It does not work as well as the full size upright but it wasn't meant to compete with that machine anyway.

Yesterday I went into the Aerus dealer to b/s and I was looking at the FreshEra. He said I bet that is one of the few you don't have. He walked in the back and handed me the box and said Merry Christmas. I could not believe it!!

I really want (notice I said want, not need) a new miele with the SEB 236 power nozzle. Now I just need a little extra push one way or the other.... So lets hear it....good and bad. The only real 'need' is because of the superior filtration and my awful allergies. Thanks, Jason
