My first Robot Vacuum- how was yours?

Right now I have a Roomba i7+ with clean base downstairs and it's basically replaced my upright as it's a new house with only wood floors. Upstairs I have the Roomba S9+ with clean base and it runs daily on our carpeted floors. I deep clean with my Shark Apex Zero-M every 2 weeks now. The S9...

The best cordless vacuum in 2019

I absolutely love my Shark ion P50. The main reason I chose it over the Dyson V11 is because the battery is removable and replaceable. It's also a sealed HEPA system and has the duoclean soft rollers which work well on hardwoods.

All opinions welcome, need new machine

Check out the Shark APEX Zero-M if you're looking for a bagless unit. It's $329 a Bed Bath & Beyond right now. I just purchased one and it works fantastic. Brush roll self cleans hair off itself and it's got HEPA filtration.

What carpet cleaner do you use?

n0oxy Look at Rug Doctor. I’ve got the Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner and it’s by far the best machine I’ve used. They’re going for $274 on their website but may be cheaper at BestBuy or Amazon.

What carpet cleaner do you use?

I have a Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner that works great. It's got extremely powerful suction so the carpets dry very quickly. I've also got a DuPray Neat Steamer that I run over the carpets every few weeks to remove allergens and surface dirt the vacuum may leave.

    Robot Vacuum Debate

Robots have their place in a household. I have a Roomba i7+ with automatic clean base downstairs which consists of almost all hardwoods and a few rugs. It leaves the floor spotless, and I am able to run it 1 or 2 times a day to remove grass tracked in by the dogs and pet hair. It's extremely...

Robot Vacuum Cleaners - Novelty or Useful Tool?

I don’t think it’s really fair to judge robot vacuums based on old technology. They have really changed in the most recent iterations. The previous Roombas for example IMO were junk, I would never have purchased one before the i7+ because they lacked suction and smart navigation. Now the Roomba...

Robot Vacuum Cleaners - Novelty or Useful Tool?

I am personally a big fan of robot vacuums for maintenance cleaning. I have a Neato Botvac D5 upstairs, and a Roomba i7+ with the self emptying clean base downstairs. I run it 1-2x a day downstairs because our dog tracks in grass. I have hardwoods throughout the main level, and it picks all...
