I have had the motor cover off of mine. Its a bit tricky to get the "pedal" off, but I did so, and there's a few screws underneath and the motor cover should come off. Sorry for the delay and if needed, I can open my machine up and provide some pictures.

What is the brushroll width? I have a Bravo II baseplate and brushroll but I need to measure the size. If they'll work for you you can have them for the cost of shipping.
