    Kirby 505 FB Marketplace find...

Spa day! Well, it’s had its “spa day” We did the best we could. Didn’t want to remove the bag because we were unsure if the spring is in good enough shape for that, but it was vacuumed out very well. I’m going to try to post a video, let’s see if it actually posts... It’s really a great...

    Kirby 505 FB Marketplace find...

Hey everyone! Thank you for the comments! I’ll try to answer some of the questions... The person who sold it to me said that he got it from the original owner (who had passed) the daughter had an estate sale and said that her dad worked for the Kirby company. That’s as much as I know. The...

    Kirby 505 FB Marketplace find...

Saw this on marketplace. About 2 hour drive each way. The guy selling said he was down here visiting and he brought it with him from Wisconsin. His girlfriend was irritated by this and he tried to sell it at a flea market and nobody wanted it. So he listed it on marketplace and I was the only...

At the vac shop of a good close friend. Haven’t been there in a while and was excited to see this little guy... owner says that he has the hose and attachments and cord at home, and he’s using it (as well as an old Miele bicycle and a Miele butter churner to use with his Miele display showing...

    Sanitronic 7 mods

Welcome! And, nice S7! As for any power modifications, I can’t say that there are any, but maybe others on here will know of something - but I’ve never heard of any. As far as the bag. There have been some topics on here in the past about HEPA conversions, I’d search archives... One thing...

    Electrolux Z25

Bakelite housing It’s still there. It actually came from an old Electrolux (now Aerus) distributor. Came home with my better half and was a total surprise to me because the owner of the store for years refused to sell it, rejected offers of over $1,000 - and just a few days ago the owners son...

    Electrolux Z25

Walter Thank you! The information you provided is actually what I was hoping for in the comments! I have a question for you. But first... The power cord that came with the machine had the male and female ends removed, so it’s useless. I’ve looked on eBay UK, but it always just filters...

    Electrolux Z25

Came home today to a great surprise from my other and best half... Complete with its box and attachments. The only thing missing is the metal hose, which I hear is still at the store where this came from- so maybe it will arrive soon. If not, am still thrilled to add this beauty to the collection!

What have you done since Stay At Home ???

Stay at home... A bit more expensive than we anticipated. We bought a brand new Rainbow, in photo it’s in air purify mode. Also found this lovely Ward’s Signature 700! The Rainbow obviously being the expense - the Ward’s 700 was only $7. I was never too big into Rainbow, but I have a cat...

    Kirby refurbishment

If you could post some photos of the machine so I can see it’s exact condition, that’d be very helpful. I’ve restored several machines of different makes but mostly Kirby. I don’t like to say yes to a project if I cannot see what I’m getting into first. You can email me at: [email protected]

where can i find this little weird thing...

“Your comment is the rudest one I've seen in this thread.“ “Aren’t you guys grown adults?” Just quoting someone special, whose past words seem oddly applicable to this thread. If it bothers you that much then just keep scrolling... but I’m guessing you’re one of those “I need to speak to the...

    Wtb

Les Is this one of the items you are looking for? It isn’t perfect. I’m actually planning on polishing it, but you will see in the pics that the right side, where it hooks onto the exhaust, the connector is broken on that side. Maybe you can think of something to make it work. I dunno. Here’s...

Beautiful machines! To everyone whose posted photos, they are all lovely! Thank you all for sharing your pictures! Hopefully will see some more! And Les, yes! It’s finally been revealed. It has all of its attachments and the straight suction nozzle as well as it’s manual, which I neglected to...

1925 Scott fitzer update with photos

Beautiful! Huskyvacs certainly had a very good idea to make it functional. And you did a great job polishing it up. It’d be very difficult for me to part with it. It’s certainly a very desirable machine, if you do decide to sell it, I’d imagine you could get some good money for it. Thank you...
