    Hi, run the vac without the belt and brush roll, if the sound is gone then you know it's not the motor...if you still hear the noise, then it's not the brush roll. Isolate as many things as possible for easier diagnosing. Could be a motor or brush roll bearing.

    Barry It depends upon the amount used, but I can usually smell the oils for quite a while using only a few drops.

    Essential oils on a small cotton ball will make the home smell great...essential oils are 100% natural, and you can control the strength by varying the number of drops. Inexpensive and effective...instant pine forest or whatever.

    Bagless cleaners are better than Bagged cleaners.

    Bagged versus Bagless Hi All, I'm new here : ). I'm not a fan of bagless vacs...I do refurbs and bagless vacs (dysons) are just filthy inside. I just did a riccar n2000 with a nice hepa bag in it...it will stay very clean overall. The cyclone in a Dyson becomes so dirty...it's also difficult...
