    Lux 1205 issues

Motor sounds good, but could it be b/c I use aftermarket bags too?

Reason to own a FQ pt 2

I could take a Hoover Convertible (preferably in bad shape) & use that as a powerhead for the FQ & the carpet will REALLY be clean.

    Lux 1205 issues

Why does my 1205 have poor suction? I've replaced the hose & suction still the same even with a new bag. I hear that the mdl G keeps going strong even with a 1/2 full bag while the 1205 has almost no suction; is that true?

Reason to own a FQ pt 2

Filter Queen vacs are approved for allergy sufferers & asthma patients too. Too bad Mercado Libre (Mexican & South American version of eBay) doesn't have FQs on sale there. http://www.vacuumland.org/TD/THREADS/VINTAGE/6924.htm

    Reason to own a FQ

    1. 10x more powerful suction than a F-5 tornado 2. Better-than-HEPA/ULPA filtration 3. Hose/wand/tool connections don't leak like the other brands' vacs do 4. Removes pollutants from the air we breathe 5. No nasty odor from exhaust like the other vacs

    Hoover Platinum Carpet Cleaner

I wonder if the Platinum will outclean a Rug Doctor? If it does, I'll get the Platinum machines as rental units & for carpet cleaning business.

    Floormate

I think I'll just stick 2 my ol' Floor-A-Matic! They've got more oomph (better scrubbing power) than the Floor Mate.

    FQ mdl 31

btw how do I remove that nasty perfume odor from the FQ? I changed ALL filters; even the batting filter & washed the scent pad & the smell STILL comes out of vac exhaust.

    Bagless Vs Bagged

Filter Queen's patented "Cellupure" cones are nice since U get tons of power with the FQ; power doesn't diminish until the bucket is COMPLETELY full. All U do is throw out the filter cone instead of washing filters like the dept. store vacs.

    Rug Doctor shampooer/polisher

I'm not sure if it was made by Koblenz or Hoover? I'd like 2 get one of these Rug Doctor shampooers; if anyone has one they don't want, let me know.
