Any Hoover Junior i purchase gets a full strip and rebuild. i take the motor apart. Clean the gunge out. Check the bearings for play. Dip in solvent and dry and re oil. if they are worn i replace them. James

ps It appears that the outer shell of my 1012 has been painted white. The plastic under the paint is creamy yellow ? Would this mean that it has had its cover replaced at some point. I have managed to get the motor out. I have cleaned it out, It was full of dust and nasty black rubbish :-(...
