    RIP old Vacuumland.

It's so odd feeling. Like you know you're on vacuumland and you know why it changed, but there's a disconnect... like you're on some other random website. Funny this happened as I'm changing to a new laptop.

How to remove cat urine from carpet with carpet cleaners?

don't ask me how I was able to do it... but my cat Leo was terrified of strange noises... like on trash day the loud trash trucks, or even just rain hitting the roof...and thunder, forgetaboutit... He was inconsolable...nothing you could do would make him feel safe...the best I could do was...

How to remove cat urine from carpet with carpet cleaners?

I had cat from 2005 to 2022. I still have one of those little greens (but not the pro heat version).. I found it to be a little amazing unit and it got me through LOTS of puke and a few pee accidents... I think you need an enzyme cleaner for that...I think you have to spray the urine area and...

    Well, I finally did it.

But there's something about having one brand new in Box... I don't regret to this day buying my rainbow new in 2006...I didn't even get a demo..No one showed up at my door. I just called and they lady was so confused... "You just want to buy one?" She said. anyway - I found this story...

    Rainbow vs Sebo/Miele

Personally, I prefer having a HEPA bagged vacuum AND a Rainbow...which is what I have now... I use the HEPA bagged more but I still use my rainbow.. Also - I agree, I watch Kirby enthusiast on youtube (I think he's from Australia) He goes over all about how to use them... It really doesn't look...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

Hey Kirbylux thanks for letting me know. I was so puzzled..and I hadn't vacuumed anything crazy... just my normal neat freak vacuuming...and just 2 days ago when I was done vacuuming, the suction was strong... only today for it to be totally gone today.... Oh well... I guess these generic bags'...

Rainbow fragrances/tips and tricks for newbie

They smell great. I stopped buying them.. You really can do better with just orange or eucalyptus or lemon essential oils.. just a few drops (lasts forever) I have a bottle of Lemon and Eucalyptus that's been in my fridge for probably 3 years at this point and I feel like I've hardly put a dent...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

What? They have lifetime belts now? Ain't that the truth!!! This Cirrus is the FIRST vacuum I've ever had where I could noticeably tell I needed to change the belt... and this is on berber! I think with good belts I can get a year... give or take...I was told if I buy a pack of belts to keep...

Rainbow e2 series HEPA filter foaming after rinsing it as instructed, now what?

I've never experienced this with my gold 2 speed. It has the HEPA filter with the oval opening... However, I no longer wash and just replace because it's so rare I have to replace them anyway...I feel like I can go five years or even longer...but just bored in the past I would wash them...shake...

    What Happened To FantomTechGuy

In the late 90s around thanksgiving my grandma bought me a phantom upright...because I had told her I had been watching the informercials and it would be amazing to not have to deal with bags... because back then, finding bags were so difficult.. and even though the internet was a thing I didn't...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

speaking of paper bags: Get this one - I have an electrolux Epic 65 canister I keep in my laundry room for lint. That's all I use it for. I've had it for YEARS. A long time ago I bought like a box of 100 4 ply paper bags on Ebay (which I still have tons of them..I've maybe used 1/2 of them (if...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

Gotcha... I had literally never heard of them until I got this vacuum... it was only after that I understood who made them and other different vacuums.. I guess I thought in the 2000s... they were called Bernina, Dustcare, Evolution... I didn't realize Cirrus was a name for a vacuum back...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

I don't think it was Cirrus in the 2000s.. I think it was several different other brand names made by the same company who makes these now...little has changed with them I think...so yea, parts are ridiculously easy to find... I'm sure these are chinese bags...I really have no way to knonw how...

Bag Change after 8 and 1/2 Months

I had to do an Amazon vine review and take pictures for the review of some generic HEPA type A bags (10 pack) that I received...so I thought I'd share since I already had the pics for the review. These HEPA bags never cease to amaze me... Look how clean inside the chamber is.. this vacuum is...

    Delphin T8 new model

Rainbows have always been ridiculously expensive, right? But the price they want for them now is beyond ridiculous... in 2006 I think if I remember I got my new in box gold 2 speed with PN and mini PN for like $1200... and later models like the blue and black were around that as well *give or...

    Silver Infused HEPA bags

I recently found out (at least per a youtube comment) that Kirby stopped making the charcoal infused HEPA bags.... Now why would they do that? If you use a Kirby... how do you get charcoal in the bag? Is it safe to suck it through the fans? About the having to add more charcoal.... so it's not...
