Since we haven't been able to fix our Electrolux 7000 C153A, we are thinking about replacing it. If we're unable to find the exact model to replace it with, what Electrolux unit would be comparable and compatible with our hose and attachments? Thanks!

A little update. Seems like this thing has had two problems. I disconnected the valve and now it runs longer before shutting down. But this time after about 10 seconds it comes back on by itself and then continues with this on and off pattern. This time no lights light up. Before, the bag light...

Machine runs fine if you're not using it, but when you use it or put your hand over the intake creating vacuum, it shuts down and the light comes on that says you need to change the bag. Even with a brand new bag it does the same. Any ideas? Thanks. Allen
