    green bison

Wow. Look at the LINES on that bovine beauty! And that headlight! Too cool. Hey, is it me, or does that bag look enormous?  It looks a lot bigger than a Kirby bag in that picture. That would be crazy. I'd only have to empty it every couple years. lol

    Kirby Light Bulb Question-

Update- So I ordered two 1156 automotive bulbs and two Kirby bulbs to see which worked better. The 1156s came yesterday. The Kirbys came today. All four bulbs are identical, right down to the #1156 stamped on each and every one of them. (rolls eyes) So the moral of the thread is, the next...

    Kirby Odorific Drops Question-

Odorif-aaack! My friends all agree, the current Kirby Odorific "original" smells like old man cologne. I dubbed it Eau de Retired Mechanic on a Hot Date, and promptly threw it away. I followed beekeyknee's advice and ordered Odors Away. He was right. This is the stuff!  One whiff...

    Kirby Light Bulb Question-

Is the Light bulb for the classic & omega models the same as an old 1156 tail light bulb?  Because an 1156 is only 38¢. They look the same (see photos), but are they the same brightness and current? I couldn't find any posts about this, nor even any info online, but surely somebody has...

Floor Polisher vs. Kirby Miracle Head - Any Thoughts?

Hoovers Funny, I had my eye on a few Hoovers. I really like the way they look.

Floor Polisher vs. Kirby Miracle Head - Any Thoughts?

sptyks Well that makes sense. :P Thanks sptyks. Although I was wondering if anybody knew if the buffers were much better or not. It would be nice if a Kirby was just as good as anything else,  but then I would have no excuse to buy a cool old buffer.

Floor Polisher vs. Kirby Miracle Head - Any Thoughts?

Vacuumland has introduced me to old fashioned waxed floors, and it seems so right. I'm never sullying a hardwood floor with polyurethane again. Which led me to the discovery of all the cool vintage floor polishers. (This hobby is like CRACK!) I already have Kirbies with Miracle Heads. ...

Spring cleaning on a beautiful Spring day in October

WOW That really DID look like rust! So, what looked like corrosion & oxidation was something else that was, in fact, protecting it from corrosion & oxidation, preserving it all these years. That's great.  You must have about wet yourself when that "rust" started coming off, revealing a...

Kirby Score! Woot-Woot (free extra stuff if you want it)

and now the Sanitronic sprayer got sucked up. All that's left is the grey wands and matching snorkulator cap. Which model has grey attachments anyway? Anyone? Anyone.?

Kirby Score! Woot-Woot (free extra stuff if you want it)

Another Freebie... I just realized the round grey part in picture #5 is one of those snorkulator caps that goes on the fumigator. It obviously went with whichever model had this grey wand. Don't need it.

Spring cleaning on a beautiful Spring day in October

Holy Moses! What a cool looking floor polisher. And holy crap, how did you restore that thing to such detailed perfection??? Even the screws are turned to the same parallel direction. (Didn't think anyone would notice, didja.  ) I have so many questions. Joo have some splainin' to do...
