    I had to teach it a lesson and get a little heavy handed with it to get those locking tabs to break free:-) Now the wiring to the door hose connection has a hot and neutral coming straight off of the cord winder terminals. There is no switch to break power to the hose and PN inside the canister...

    Any tips on gettinng these side locking strips out of the body of the canister? I read a few threads but I can't seem to work the magic. I have to check this bad boy out before monday.

    So I stopped by my local vac shop and told the owner my problem with this canister and he said someone must have been inside and wired it incorrectly. I am going to try and figure out how to get inside and check things out when I get home.

    Hi I have a question about a Ultralux 80th anniversary mod c152e canister vac. This vac is new to me and the power switch on the canister itself does not turn off voltage through the hose to the PN. When the canister bag is out and the bag door is open there is still voltage going to the PN...
