I particularly like my Royal 996, since at 7.0 amps it has lots of pull but is relatively lightweight. My newer 2025 weighs a ton and it maneuvers like a Mack truck sans power steering. I've owned Royals since the 1980s and have found them to be as durable as Kirbys but easier to use. Good luck...
