    Rainbow Score!

I’ve always been into Kirby’s, Hoover’s, Eurekas....etc. I’ve always liked uprights, but have really wanted to try a Rainbow. A gentleman posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace, so I contact him...a Rainbow SE, and a Rainbow E series plus attachments and shampooer for the SE...all for $25. So, I...

    Hoover Concept One Power Drive

I found this old vacuum on Facebook marketplace for $10. I’m familiar with, and own quite a few Convertibles, but never one of these. Runs well, came with extra bags and belts. The lady said it belonged to her elderly mother, who passed away a year and a half ago and was the original owner. It...

    Rainbow D2

Thinking of purchasing a Rainbow D2. Are they a pain in the rear? Never owned one, but wanting to try something else for a while.

Grandma still has Rainbow after all

Ben, I’ve been thinking of looking into a Rainbow like that. Is this still their daily driver? How do they hold up?

Thank you. Yes, much agreed. The Omega has always been my favorite and I have around 5 of them, but never can help but buy another one lol. The DS80, I have been looking for for a few years and no luck in finding one. The DS50 I really didn’t plan to find, it wasn’t one on my list to look for...

    Found More Vaccums

Yes A very friendly guy. He said the exact same thing. They usually only deal with G3 and newer models, but he was happy to sell me some old machines. He had one with a switch in the handle that I may be going back for on Monday.

    Found More Vaccums

We have a Kirby dealership not far from where I live. Called the shop and asked about some vintage machines and the owner called me back last night. Really nice guy that has been in the business since the DS50 was new. Told me to come down to his shop and look at what he has and pick out what I...

    My “New” Sanitare

Never owned a Sanitare before, but have always wanted one. I picked this machine up this afternoon. It is model SC684. The bag is off and being cleaned at the moment. What can you tell me about this particular machine? I’m by no means an expert...I do have similar Eurekas, but my first Sanitare.

Are these Scott and Fetzer Sanitation System Attachments?

So, after selling my S&F Sanitation System on eBay, I discovered a box of attachments in a closet. I do believe that some of these belong to the machine. I am, by no means, an expert and don’t claim to be. I’m just a guy enjoying this hobby. I wish I would have found these before the auction, if...

    Shocked!

Ok guys, I was rummaging through a closet tonight and have found a box of attachments that I believe went to the Scott and Fetzer Sanitation System. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. Hopefully you can shed some light. I wish I would’ve found these before I listed the auction. I’ve uploaded some...

    Shocked!

Yes, I was afraid of that as well. But when I ask for insurance on $1800, that may raise a flag.

    Shocked!

I found this vacuum locally and purchased this machine and another old Kirby together. It’s been sitting in my front room for two years now. I decided to clear some space and start selling a few things off. Like I said, I did not expect to sell this machine for this kind of money. Before I went...

Re: Number B400075 This is the only number on the machine.

    Shocked!

Thank you for the advice! I will do exactly as you said. Yes, it is a lot of money. I was expecting around $200-300 after it was said and done. To say I’m surprised is an understatement.
