My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 3

Whoops Sorry I must correct my other post, the vacuum WILL turn on if the door is open, I recall the salesperson sticking the vacuum to a box and it held itself in the air, my partner was amazed.... haha

My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 3

update.. I have owned one of these since july 2012....still going strong, due for another pre motor filter though. It has normal scuffs and marks on it from alot of use, lots of outside use vacuuming the cars. Waiting on Godfreys to stock the Sebo powerhead, the orignal (wesselwerk?) powerhead...

    Electrolux Powehead Issues

Hi guys, I'm using an Australian made electolux d740 with a ZE3 Aus made electrolux power nozzle, orange in colour. When plugged in, sometimes the brush won't move, it needs to be pushed with your fingers to get it going. It also doesn't make much noise... Is there any way of "servicing" this...

Modern Vac / Arus-Lux knock off?

Well... It's kinda ironic that they call this a "modern vac" yet was designed in 1989. I have an Australian built model from 1990, very nice machine.

Guardian Turbo Tool. Hi everyone, not sure if this thread is still going but the Aerus/Sauber/Lux vac we are discussing has a "Turbo tool" similar to a kirby in regards to the fact that it cleans, sands, polishes and is also a massager. In Australia it is sold for around $300 under the Sauber...

My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 2

In reply In reply to "Electromatik", the filter was changed right after that happened so the picture posted is 4 months of everyday use. The cardboard part of the bag does not cover the entire opening and leaves a couple milimeters each corner for dust to get through.

Miele I own a Miele vac from around 2001, I cleaned it inside and out and after 6 months of vacuuming a high traffic student house every day leakage was minimal. Also, after 4 bag changes you get a free pre-motor filter with the factory bags so if they did leak and block that filter it would...

My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 2

Reply to PR-21 PR-21.. Godfreys in Australia import them from a lux distributor without the Sauber badging or anything and sell out quickly, they take a while to come in. The yellow is a lemon scent whilst the blue is more of a "fresh" smell. I'm using the cloth type bags. Once full the bottom...

My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 2

Owner of Sauber Thought I might post here to give you guys a quick review of mine. I bought a Sauber Intelligence in July last year from Godfreys in Aus who sell them for around $1600 retail but I haggled to $1300. The perfume catridges work well ($20 aus) and have a nice linen smell and the...
